Things to See and Do in Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Historic Downtown Eureka Springs

The Tall Pines Inn is less than five minutes from this charming Victorian village in the Ozarks. Go shopping, explore art galleries, and tour homes with charming turrets and colorful gingerbread trim clinging to the hillsides.

Lake Leatherwood

One of the largest city parks in the United States - with 1,600 acres of pristine Ozark Mountain countryside - is only 2 miles from the Tall Pines. Hardwood forests cover steep hills divided by a narrow, 85-acre lake that is continuously recharged by spring water.

• Mountain Biking - The park features almost 20 miles of marked, challenging single track. Pedal for 10 minutes from the Tall Pines Inn on back roads and you're at the trailhead!

• Fishing - Catch your own supper from the dock, bank, or a boat: blue gill, crappie, large- and small-mouth Bass, and channel catfish.

• Swimming - Enjoy the sandy bottom swimming area and WPA-era diving platform.

• Boating- Rent a canoe, paddleboat or jon boat and relax. Leatherwood is a no-wake lake.
